Madison McBride is currently captivating audiences as the “Promise Keeper Girl Keke” in “TEETH” at New World Stages. This engaging production originally debuted at Playwrights Horizons, where it quickly sold out and was extended twice due to strong demand. Directed by Sarah Benson, with music, lyrics, and book by Michael R. Jackson—the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning creator of “A Strange Loop”—and Anna K. Jacobs, known for “Pop!” and as a Jonathan Larson Grant finalist, “TEETH” is a show you won't want to miss.

On screen, Madison made an impression as "Shakeela" in “Full Circle” (HBO), directed by Oscar and Emmy-winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2023. Soderbergh has praised her talent and versatility, solidifying her presence in the industry. That same year Madison also had a role in “No Hard Feelings” (Columbia Pictures).

Earlier this year Madison starred as “Dionne” in the UK premiere of “Clueless The Musical”. This adaptation of the iconic 1995 film, written by Amy Heckerling, features a catchy score by Tony and Grammy Award-nominated composers and lyricist KT Tunstall and Glenn Slater. Madison’s performance as “Dionne” received positive reviews.

She also appeared as “Edith” in “Pirates of Penzance” at the Roundabout Theatre Benefit, directed by Tony-nominated Scott Ellis and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Warren Carlyle.

Her regional theatre credits include “Natalie” in “Next to Normal” at Barrington Stage Company, which was hailed as the best show of the season in the Berkshires this year. Other notable roles include “Little Eva/Shirelle” in “Beautiful: The Carole King Musical” at North Carolina Theatre, “La’Trice” in “Chicken & Biscuits* at Crossroads Theatre, “Lily Rashad” in the world Premiere of “Bhangin’ It” at La Jolla Playhouse, and “Belle” in “Beauty and the Beast” at Ann Arbor in Concert.

Madison has also participated in various workshops and readings, including “Nancy Drew: The Mystery at Spotlight Manor ” as the iconic teenage detective’s "Bess Marvin" directed by Tony Award-winning James Lapine with music by iconic Disney legend Alan Menken. In 2021 she played Ariel in the Workshop of Disney’s The Little Mermaid for the launch of the brand new Disney Wish Ship.

A proud graduate of the University of Michigan’s Musical Theatre program (Class of 2021), Madison navigated the challenges of her senior year during the COVID-19 pandemic and emerged stronger. She showcased her talents in productions like “Godspell” (directed by Telly Leung) and “The Exonerated”, and was nominated for the 2021 Dean’s Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Spirit Award and the Willis A. Patterson Diversity Award.
